A boy can't hear, he's deaf. He acrobats between two worlds, the hearing world (where he grew up) and the deaf world.
On the other hand, a hearing girl is initially skeptical and snubs the world of the deaf.
Fate will bring them together, but a series of events will create obstacles in their path.
Two different worlds meet. Two different people meet.
After all, how different are they? What is the common element that unites them and how strong can it prove?
A book for those who still believe that hope dies last. A story for realists and dreamers at the same time.
A novel that celebrates the beauty of life.

Panos Sarpakis was born in 1986 in Athens, originally from Amorgos, while he studied Architecture at the National Technical University of Athens. He was born hearing, but grew up deaf due to an accident at a very young age. Being deaf, he grew up in a hearing environment and understood early on what it means to feel marginalized. He didn't give up though, since he believed that everyone in the world should have equal opportunities and that it doesn't matter what you are but who you are. Being a restless spirit, he dabbled in various arts such as painting and writing. He tackled the latter relatively recently, publishing short stories on his personal blog, mostly of philosophical content. The appeal was such that it pushed him to his first publishing attempt. The novel The Heart Always Sounds by iWrite Publications (2012) is his first book.
