A STORY FOR ALL TIMES
Beginnings of the Peloponnesian War. Although the life of our ancestors changes radically, even during the time of the great creations, the love affairs, the dramas, the banquets go hand in hand.
The novel, basically a romance, narrates the life of an Athenian noblewoman, father Athenaeus and mother Corinthia, who teaches her the first letters through Corinthian mythology, since Athenian women did not attend schools at that time. The daughter loses her father in the war and is forced to marry, according to custom, her cousin, many years older. Her life is uneventful, tragic events intervene, until the plague breaks out and she wanders to the north, in Potidea, a Corinthian colony near her uncle, her mother's brother.
At the same time, Brasidas, the Spartan general, is transporting the allied troops to the north. There are many battles, Potidea is occupied by the Athenians, Athena is a woman after many adventures and after she has met her great love, she is betrayed and forced to take to the streets in desperation to save her life and dignity. New troubles plague her at every turn of her turbulent life, she unwittingly participates in the war, until... until a new love appears, deeper and more stable - is it?
In the meantime, a strange creature appears and wanders every now and then, from the beginning to the end of the pages of the novel and sings with his guitar the future calamities of war. And it never falls out. Others say that it is a Kira, hence the elements that return to battles and drink the blood of warriors, others claim that it is an alienated old man.
A fascinating novel with historical truths exposed for the first time to the uninitiated, an amazing love story, an anthem for women!

who is the author?
Eleni Apostolidou was born in Thessaloniki, learning very soon from her family the value of giving. Being a student in the history department of the Open University, she read any history book she could get her hands on. At the same time, she participated in association activities for the support of the mentally ill, she was a member of the Board of Directors of the Ethnological - Folklore Museum of Macedonia, while she was also a lifeguard. In addition, with the help of her husband, she treats stray animals to this day, while at the same time they demonstrate together at every opportunity the love they have for nature.
From a very young age, recording her thoughts in notebooks was something that "filled" her. She wrote many short stories and poems about her daughter that were published in literary magazines in Greece and Cyprus. It was then that the now deceased poet Anestis Evangelou read a collection of seven interconnected short stories by the author under the title "The Gialoudes", which he proposed to the Observer Publications for publication, as it was done.
Since then, he has published the novella "The Dark Room" by Delfini Publications, as well as the novels "The loves that write history", "What the wind brings" and "The fire of the heart" (historical) by Livani Publications.
The novel "The 7th Goddess" was released in early 2013 by iWrite Publications, opening a new page of publishing cooperation in her career.
All her texts have some historical background.
