RUSSIA, 1865. Yannis Petrou was born in Athens in 1979. He grew up in Loutraki, Corinthia, with the stories of his "fairy tale" grandfather exciting his childhood imagination and being the stimulus for writing his first short stories during his adolescence. Artistically restless, since the age of twelve he has been involved in music, taking part in performances and singing competitions, either as an independent musician or as a member of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Loutraki.
He studied Economics and Management in Athens and has been working in the banking sector since 2006. In 2011 he was honored with the Innovative Idea award from Piraeus Bank. Alongside his studies and work, he will immerse himself in foreign languages (he speaks English, French and Spanish), creating the resources to support his great passion, travel. The images, feelings, people and their stories, which he met in them, will influence him and lead him to spend long periods of time abroad, in search of new experiences and experiences.
The book "The Sweetest Sleep" (iWrite Publications, 2016) is his first writing attempt.
