Michael Karpathiou is the founder of the Humanology Mental Health Center and the initiator of the training Transpersonal–Synthetic–Mentoring. He is an author specializing in Mental Health Counseling and trauma therapy  in Somatic Psychotherapy from the Hellenic Institute of Neurophytotherapy and Character Analysis - E.I.N.A.

In particular, he has trained and worked in the fields of: Body Psychotherapy, Gestalt Psychotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Life Coaching, Ancestral Therapy, Systemic Representation Psychology (individual & group), Psychogenerative System, Redecision Therapy for couple therapy, EFT systems, EMDR NATURAL FLOW, BSFF TAT, etc. He has also completed his studies in Chinese medicine, as well as in ancient and new energy systems of self-awareness and healing from different cultures, such as Taoism, Zen, Tantrism, Shamanism, Inca Psycho-Spiritual Development, while at this time he is retraining in homeopathy. He has completed his training at the Kapodistrian University of Athens, in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders, with the application of neuroscience, in body psychotherapy and music therapy, as well as in the management of crises in marriage and divorce. He is a counselor and trainer of therapists in Sexual Alchemy.

In recent years, she has also been organizing innovative self-awareness groups for children and "Self-Awareness Games", marrying East with West, mind, body, emotion, play and spirituality, through a holistic approach.
