Voices in the Dark

One apocalyptic moonless night, back in the distant 1990, I decided to come to our world too, to find out if it is really worth all the hype that is being made about it in the metaphysical wells of Plato's Eternal Ideas. I haven't settled down yet, but I had no choice, as my doubt as a spermatozoon to step into the Light or rethink it was debilitatingly deadly.
My earthly wanderings took me to various districts of Piraeus, with the last one being the exotic Keratsini, a "mystical" place of countervailing Forces, which, wish or curse, make up my own Universe. I try to be selective but usually when I make plans the god of Paranoia laughs at me.
Fanatical supporter of the view that we are already living in hell. Trapped in the cauldrons of human misery, sprinkled with plenty of vain intolerance, we create the monsters we deserve ourselves.
But because of my sensitive skin, I can't stand the high temperatures and try to escape every now and then, trying to decipher the (hidden?) meanings of life.
Knowledge is power and sometimes the method by which people come together. Having journalistic concerns, my curiosity to understand the heart and the dark secrets she hides as another battered old lady has led me to study political science and criminology.
My weaknesses are literature and writing articles and stories. After all, no one is sinless.
Words are magic, but without guidance and purpose they lose their meaning. If we rediscover the lost meaning, perhaps it is time for the afflicted Beelzebub to roll up the shutters, go on vacation to hell, and we create the reality that befits the principles of humanity.
