Koroneios is a lawyer, in his fifties, with a wife, a famous, busy actress, and an eleven-year-old daughter, whom he raises almost single-handedly. Leah is a forty-five-year-old judge, dedicated to her career, with a reputation as an extremely strict and unyielding judicial officer, and alone. The two frequently clash in courtrooms, always observing, however, the strict protocol of that particular venue that requires lawyers and judges to maintain a formally professional relationship.
By a strange twist of fate, they are trapped for a few hours in the basement of the Thessaloniki Courthouse after a bomb explosion. The events that follow lead to a gradual soul-baring, an unveiling of the facades people construct to survive within social and family conventions. A strange love begins to be born, without either of them having tried for it.
The two sides of people, the truly human, vulnerable, tender, free and on the other hand the cruel, detached, the mask-weapon to the dictates of life, are in conflict. Which of the two will prevail? Which one will be condemned? What will be the final verdict?
