What I want to shout to you so loudly until you pass out is a message conveyed to me by an invisible angel: “Do not abandon your body, do not allow melancholy to become the soldier of your life. God gave you body and soul to love them, to take care of them. You owe it to yourself to be happy. Don't hate the body you once adored, that fulfilled your every desire, that never let you down, that never betrayed you, that never took revenge for the pain you make it endure. Love you and live with your wounds that will never heal.

Don't try to wisely answer the dilemma: "Is death the end or is it the zero point where everything begins again?" Let the dilemma be a dilemma. Do not resist. Continue your mission. Live.”

Author Biography

My name is Elda Golemi. I was born on 30-06-1986 in Fier, Albania. I have been living in Greece since I was eighteen years old.

Literature is the love of my life. Our school newspaper "Pygolambida" hosted my poems every week. I successfully finished high school and went to the University of Argyrokastro to study literature.

My dream was to become a journalist, but a sudden car accident left my father in bed for many months and I had no hope for the future.

But literature is like the blood that flows in me. Even when I gave up my passion, she believed in me.

In 2005, my first book with a collection of poems, entitled "Don't give up", was published in Albania. Greece is the mother of literature for me, that's why I tried to be in her arms and manage with the help of the creative team of iWrite and Standard Source Publications to publish my first novel "I chose death to live" .
