Straddling between an early sharp maturity and his actual age, the teenager Antonis, living in a closed society of a small village, experiences the beginning of many difficult experiences. With a missing father, many unanswered questions and a suffocating everyday life, he is pushed into charming and innocent repetitions of kleptomania. At the same time, he opens, almost consciously, the door of his first love, in an attempt to heal himself. The enigmatic figures of the mother and the aunt give him the mystery of life from a completely different perspective, and he himself suspects, discovers, joins, and says goodbye. Searching for the meaning of faith, he questions facts and organizes his life without fear. In the end, with a "goodbye then," he arrives at the redemption of change.

Christos Mantidis -
The story of Mr. Thanasoula's book is original and has many psychological ramifications. The consistency of his characters is exemplary and the relationships of the heroes are completely intertwined with the place, time and the special situations they experience. The author's pen perfectly describes the fine lines of events and heroes in a novel with many and difficult themes that are masterfully woven into an original and unexpected canvas. I strongly recommend it to all lovers of good literature!
