The edition of the poetry collection entitled "Alother's Prayers" captures and presents thoughts and concerns of young years. For a long time these poems lay forgotten in old notebooks, in handwritten smudged paste-ups and on the back pages of school and university textbooks. Their recent search immediately gave birth to the desire to record in print and at the same time externalize a different image beyond the professional one. After all, creation and art go beyond our professional needs and come to cover deeper and more essential inner searches. So they have to rely on amateurism. Then and only then are they authentic.

Author Biography
Petros Spinos was born in Thessaloniki in 1978 and lived his childhood in Pyrgos Ilias. He studied Dentistry and specialized in Oral Surgery - Implantology and Radiology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has made numerous announcements at dental conferences, as well as scientific publications in Greek and foreign journals.
In the past he has been awarded by the Hellenic European Day Committee in the context of the 36th European competition for his cartoon works. For a number of years he worked as a radio producer (ABC FM) and as a cartoonist in the daily newspaper "Patris", while in 1998 he participated as a candidate for Greek representation in the 9th Biennale of Young Creators of Europe and the Mediterranean in the field of Literature.
Since 2006, he has been a scientific associate of the Dental Clinic of the "Andreas Papandreou" General Prefectural Hospital, while today he maintains a private practice of Oral Surgery and Implants in Pyrgos Ilias, where he lives.
